(How Does It Feel To Be Loved?)

Let’s cut to the chase: ‘Constellations’ is a wonderfully carefree record. It combines the straight-talking simplicity of Mickey & Silvia with the contemporary up-beat skip of Belle & Sebastian.
I should admit from the off that ‘twee’ isn’t really my thing, but there’s no hiding from the fact that this is a charming record for an inner-city summer.
There are a fair few highlights: ‘Try Try Try’ and ‘C&F’ set the pop benchmark quite high, for example. The record can feel a bit samey at times, but all in all the feeling is light and airy – and I’m sure it’ll find itself snuggled deep in the hearts of happy-go-lucky indie-lovers.
