Mates with Jack White, in love with 80s US indie groups, it all comes together for JEFF The Brotherhood's debut LP. Think the cool bits of Weezer added into Pixies rock-out moments.

Tracks like 'Mystic Portal II' is a heavy garage track waiting for the Reading & Leeds crowds to embrace it. There are times when they go into territory which seems a little to Foo Fighters'-esque rock-by-numbers, but on tracks such as 'Wood Ox', when they build into more of a crescendoing groove before breaking into the grunge territory, JEFF The Brotherhood show they have the power yet to keep rock fans happy.
