The official line is that Raven Beats Crow reside in London, but judging from this EP I'd stick the pin somewhere around Area 51: their electro-slacker pop songs have the distinct aura of a UFO B-movie.
'Escalator' has their singer screeching like a booze-saturated hick being zapped by aliens, 'So Long Pogo' finds the same singer impersonating a Bowie-accented Dalek, while EP highlight 'S.U.N' engulfs the listener in a psychedelic disco of pink haze, at a location not too distant from the Flaming Lips' paradise island.
