I’m not sure if The Strange Boys are dope fiends, but I certainly have my suspicions. The band from Austin, Texas make for an amusingly piss-takey, casual jangle of a rock sound which isn’t a million miles away from the Black Lips. On this evidence, they’re kind of muppet-like rock stars, too mischievous to dismiss but not exactly the second coming of Jesus ‘Look Busy’ Christ.
