Graduate Fashion Week has featured some fantastic new talent. Amelia Chester from Northumbria University, has designed a beautiful collection resembling 40's workwear or even the housewife. Although the collection is feminine, there are hints of masculinity empowering the female to a strong figure in society. Casual clothes are enhanced by immaculate finishing and tailoring. Cute shorts are teamed with twee jackets in a neutral palette.

London Fashion Label Neurotica presents A/W 2010/11 collection ”Thief in the night” and accessories collaboration with textile artist Gemma Marissa.

Sticking to what it does best, Neurotica have created dark and magical garments with it's signature style of hand illustrated prints of a mystical story. Through an awakening from Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, inspiration has been taken from his fluid, organic and geometric designs to create prints of owls, ravens, abstract crystalline, squirrels and vast galaxies.

This season, Neurotica has collaborated with Gemma Marissa to produce handmade accessories. Knitted handbands and clips featuring pompoms and feathers are a cute combination to the outfit.

Bench have given us a sneak peak at their high summer Power and Glory collection and it is fricking awesome.

Just like its name this high summer collection oozes power and a touch of glory.
The ladies collection is inspired by the punk scene and epitomises a sexy bold attitude. New shapes, proportion and layering make a clear statement: confidence! Prints from the urban wilderness intertwined with geometric art combine to reveal a twisted yet refreshing personality. Moody, hand-drawn graphics, cheeky slogans and quirky animal prints use bold colours on a natural palette to express real attitude. Simple brand sign-offs ensure each piece is about how YOU style it! The mens collection is inspired by the great outdoors and native Americana. Its all about discovery and revelation! Geometric patterns straight from the catwalk, are given Bench’s imaginative handwriting, whilst hazy woodland scenes, hand drawn prints in vivid colours and a bold tribal influence inspired by Navajo textile design, show courage and effortless style. This range has an underlying hand-crafted quality for the wearer to portray with his own personal flair.

Here are a few highlights from the collection.
