French brand April 77 and Canadian designer Calla Haynes have proven to be the perfect combination after joining forces to create a high – end, psychedelic and yet modern collection for women SS12. Although sticking with April 77’s cult denim silhouettes, the collection is smothered in Calla’s cool all-over bold digital prints creating what the two brands like to call ‘Romantic Rights’ – “a vision that is both romantic and very rock and roll”.

“For the print designs, I imagined a girl, in love, at a summer music festival and how she feels. I tried to communicate the head, the nature and the music in abstract patterns.” Calla Haynes.
