Even though the array of talent at HOP FARM this year was astonishing, especially considering it’s only it’s 4th year, witnessing PRINCE’s performance was quite literally out of this world, so much so the memories still refuse to leave the ARTROCKER office.

Global megastars included IGGY AND THE STOOGES, LOU REED, EAGLES, MORRISSEY, Artrockers very own DUKE SPIRIT and the legend of funk; LARRY GRAHAM of GRAHAM CENTRAL STATION. Graham, in particular, was a definite crowd favourite, but even the funk god himself couldn’t get the crowd jumping. The sunday festival-goers were there to see one man, and one man only; PRINCE.

Not only was Prince’s performance by far the most entertaining, he is back better than ever with a band to match. Including his very easy on the eye, backing guitarist, who not only had the voice of an angel but the fashion sense of an icon. It’s become quite apparent that Prince only employees band members that are multi-instrumentalists, voices to rival Whitney Houston and have the biggest sex appeal known to man.....so all his band members must not be human then yeah? Hell yeah! No mortal human being can sound that good!

Get the look this week presents a fashion taster of how you can achieve Prince’s backing guitarist’s style.
