BRUTUS X ARRAN GREGORY
In anticipation of what is undoubtedly a monumental year for Britain, Brutus proudly launches their ‘BRITISH ILLUSTRATORS PROJECT’.
Arran Gregory X Brutus from Brutus Trimfit on Vimeo.
As of this summer, Brutus has started commissioning young British artists to draw directly onto their famous ‘Trimfit’ shirts. Using their own unique styles each artist will interpret what Brutus means to them.
Worn proudly by the British since 1966, Brutus Trimfit shirts are a reflection of personal style and youth culture and show dedication to style.
As a part of Brutus’ testament to nurturing and encouraging young British talent, Arran Gregory was the first artist commissioned for the project. He graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 2009 and is now seen as one of London’s most sought after talents. He describes his work as a battle between maximalism and minimalism, which can be seen in the black and white simplicity of his drawings that feature the perfect amount of intricate detail whilst not overcomplicating the design.
Brutus will be hosting an exhibition of this project in the summer 2013.
