Hannah Menzies

Inspired by personal nostalgic experiences, Hannah Menzies, a fellow graduate fashion week entrant, has been inspired by childhood memories of dance and gymnastic classes and 90's figure skating clothing. To exemplify a 90's feel, she also focused on classic TV shows such as "Clueless", "Clarissa Explains It All" and "My So Called Life".



The collection is a fresh, kitsch approach to retro figure skating styling, the great thing about it is how it is completely wearable. But, what Artrocker found most interesting about the collection, was Hannah's inspiration; she played with the idea of taking something naff, for example figure skating, and turning it into something fashionable and modern again.
