It's the Artrocker Awards this Friday, and to celebrate we're asking our nominees to nominate THEIR albums of the year!

"Toot Whistle Plunk Boom! by The Deaf is brilliant. Loads of down-stroking, hard-hitting garage pop songs. They're from the Netherlands and they've got a great style, not least 'cause of their female backing singer who also plays the organ, which really adds a touch of soul class to the record.
Just when you think you've got it sussed, 'Long Way Down' is a mid- paced anthemic slice of a song and reminds me of early Manic Street Preachers! It's got even more to offer, with raucous harmonica-soaked blues songs and twisting rock n roll. A great album for any mod, rocker, groover, shaker, punk, greaser, lover or hater. That's why its my favourite album of 2011."
