Bristol Rising #5: by Fear of FictionOlo Worms
Taken from last year’s stunning album, ‘Curves’ is a mesmerizing track, perfectly mirrored by this new video, overflowing with an innocent melancholy. It might not inspire you to go on a day out to the Severn channel, but this track is stunning experiment in delicacy and lyrical honesty.

Casimir
Fresh from months in the studio, and with their fantastic debut EP ‘ Not Mathematics’ in hand, it’s exciting to see a brand new band to the Bristol scene starting to stir things up. ‘Balancing Act’ is the first track from the EP, setting the tone for a band who’s influence range from Sigur Ros to Desaparecidos.

Thought Forms
Next month sees the long awaited release of Thought Forms new album ‘Ghost Mountain’ on Geoff Barrow’s Invada Records. The Bristol favourites have released this video for reverb drenched single ‘Only Hollow’ to whet our appetites. This new LP is set to be their most diverse yet, veering between fuzzy bedroom grunge and ethereal noise bleakness, with tracks that could feel at home next to Godspeed! You Black Emperor or My Bloody Valentine
