Come meet our New Bloods…
We run through some of the acts you should expect to witness at this Saturday's one-dayer event in Shoreditch...
CITIZENS!
These ex-Official Secrets Act boys have been busy this year. Inbetween releasing a jostling indie debut LP, 'Here We Are', as produced by indie pop extrodanaire Alex Kapranos, and gigging relentlessly CITIZENS! have managed to pick up more than a few fans on the way. Prepare to get your jagged angles out on the dance floor this Saturday.
Public Service Broadcasting
Darlings of 6Music, darlings of ours, Public Service Broadcasting have been wooing Artrock and electronica fans over alike with their haunting, war-time sampling grooves.
The Neat
Here's some scratchy guitar music for ya! Frenetic drums and bass clash to create a lo-fi sound worth getting hyped about.
Nightmare Air
Who doesn't want ethereal vocals and shoegaze guitars to go headfirst into a wall of drums? Not us, that's for sure. Nightmare Air aren't going to be quiet this Saturday, and that's a very good thing.
Black Moth
Rock'n'Roll with extra bite – attitude laden female vocals and balls to the wall guitar stunts straight from the home of the New Heavy Sounds label.
Spectres
Next up, our New Blood competition winners! Hailing from Bristol and the king pins of the Howling Owl collective we're very excited to welcome these new guys into our bosom...
Skeletons On Holiday
Another bunch of first timers to 1234, these guys hail from Bath and they'll be opening our stage at 1pm. So get there early, you've got no excuse to miss these and all the other awesome bands!
