Friday Freakout: Atari Teenage Riot
Atari Teenage Riot's Alex Empire takes us through his Friday Freakout playlist...
It's Friday (already) and it's time for a Freakout!
That's right, despite this being one of the shortest working weeks in living memory, we still reserve the right to deliver you a buttock-shaking playlist to see in the weekend.
This week the newly reformed techno terrorists Atari Teenage Riot are taking the hot seat and compiling the tunes - prepare to Freakout!

SLEEVE NOTES BY ALEC EMPIRE
In Berlin only tourists go out on Fridays! Berliners tend to party on the days of the working week, which is no surprise because the unemployment rate is so high in Berlin.
So by the time Friday shows up on my calendar, I get a similar feeling that most British people do on Monday mornings. But I still go out... this explains why our party songs are a bit more deranged.
I stopped going to these club nights who hire student DJs , pay them 100 Euro to 'DJ' mp3s from a laptop.. that shit is lame, hardly anybody has real fun at these things. Either I go out and see the real stuff or check out all the illegal stuff that is going on (where nobody is getting paid...that idealism reflects on the music! Trust me).
Thanks to the recession it is more about the people and the music again than wearing the right type of clothes by the right type of brand.
Everything is allowed, just don't bring guns....
