SLEEVENOTES BY DETACHMENTS

First tunes - you're getting ready, having a wash, taking your time, trying different combinations of clobber on, sipping your beer or wine - gently 'preloading', doing your hair etc. In the background - elevating, cerebral sounds under the enchanted gaze of Witch House. Midway through - perhaps having a quick game on the Playstation whilst sipping the spirits, the sound is becoming more visceral and danceable, warm inebriation creeping, sorrows distant. Before the time Capleton limbers up you'll have decided what to wear, your vision should be nicely blurred and you should be feeling pretty fucking fired up. When the final nihilistic sneer of the Pistols is over you'll already have got your jacket on and be spilling out into the street with your dead-eyed swagger/stagger well and truly on.
