Friday Freakout: Is Tropical

It's Friday and it's time for a freakout! This week, mysterious pop subversives IS TROPICAL are taking over the playlist to bring us kicking and mutating into the weekend. Here are their sleevenotes...

Forget building the pyramids, building Spotify playlists is easily the hardest task ever entrusted to a human mortal. However, in our Sisyphian struggle we've tried our best to read the lay of the land, to run our minds along the slick taint, to skim through the oily, bubbling surface of a pre-going out playlist. There's ups, there's downs, there's at least three different vocoders (see if you can find them all).

Friday night is now Thursday night which was the new Saturday night... Couldn't find Darren's remix of When O' When, we couldn't find the Ms Dynamite track Simon wanted, and Gary's run out of wet look gel. At least the shop still does 3 for £5 on red red wine... But UB40 can wait for the Sunday morning playlist.
