SLEEVE NOTES BY THE YOUNG & LOST CLUB

Our Friday Freakout is comprised of tracks we love to DJ at the moment - from newer things to the old classics we play nearly every time.

No matter how often we play these songs in a DJ set they're still ones we'd be happen to listen to again and again. So here's what you've got waiting for you:

1.Slippin / Quadron

This has such a old fashioned feel to it, an easy start to a Friday night playlist.

2. Dilly / Band of Horses

Their new album is great, it's amazing to see bands like Band of Horses and The National reach a wider audience and new level of success with their latest albums.

3. Everywhere / Fleetwood Mac

Nadia and I always play this when we DJ. Vampire Weekend did a cool cover of it too.

4. Private Eyes / Hall & Oates

So many of the current bands I like (The Virgins, Chromeo) seem to be influenced by Hall & Oates, sometimes I forget how many amazing songs they have.

5. Love King / The-Dream

I thought I'd be sick of 'Love King' at this point in the Summer, but I still love it!

6. Your Love / Nicki Minaj

I think Nicki Minaj will be huge by this time next year/ The line "For your lovin' I'm gonna die hard like Bruce Willis" is simultaneously funny and romantic.

7. Nighttiming / Coconut Records

Jason Schwartzman (who is Coconut Records) is a multi-talented guy, people always ask me what this is whenever I play it.

8. Too Young / Phoenix

Phoenix are one of my all time favourite bands, they were awesome at Field Day this year.

9. Like A Virgin / the Glee Cast

Sad but true, Nadia and I are big fans of Glee, the Madonna episode was a highlight.

10. Feel So Good / Ma$e

Could there be a more perfect Friday night party starter?
