It's Artrocker.TV, it's live, it's Glam Chops. And today we're joined by Eddie and by, er... by...
Paul: It's Paul. I'm a founder member you cheeky bastard!
Right! There was some exciting glam rock make-up going on with the show tonight. What thought process do you go through when deciding what make-up to put on?
Paul: Somebody told me that the best kind of sex is make-up sex, so I just try and make it as sexy as possible.
Eddie: I normally have two bars across my face but as you can see, I went for a star today... oh hang on, this is on the radio or something isn't it? You probably can't see my star then.
David Devant had a stormy weather cloud on his forehead, didn't he?
Paul: You know who I feel sorry for? That fella in Kiss who gets made up like a cat.
Eddie: It's a gerbil. It's a gerbil.
Paul: Is it a gerbil? I feel sorry for him. The rest of them look really cool and he's made up like a gerbil.
Eddie: The reason for the storm cloud was we were trying to learn his new song, and he was in a bad mood. So he drew a stormy weather cloud on his forehead (laughs) it was the most passive aggressive complaint ever!
Let's fire some glam rock orientated comparisons at you. The Sweet Vs Slade - who wins?
Paul: The Sweet for me.
Eddie: Yeah The Sweet, but I like Slade's film, 'In Flame'.
Paul: The Sweet are like hod carriers in cat suits. That's the appeal for me. That's my kind of man.
Eddie: Hurr, tough guy!
Ziggy Stardust Vs Marc Bolan?
Paul: Stardust... (Eddie nods) why do you always let me answer first?!
Eddie: Yeah Stardust. I love the way Bowie now talks about Ziggy Stardust as if he's a seperate person. "Yeah, me and Ziggy used to share a few hotel rooms..."
You had all the dancing girls out in force tonight - do they have names?
Eddie: The Panther Girls.
Paul: Yeah they did really well. Only two of them rehearsed... the other one was having a nap. They were fantastic!
Will you be releasing a Christmas single again this year?
Eddie: I want to release a Christmas album. A whole twelve tracks, we should get on it now.
Paul: I'm a fan of the phrase 'never say never'. [But] when it comes to the Glam Chops it's more like 'never say ever'! So whilst I'd like to... can't really see it, like.
It would be great to have a Glam Chops album. There's so many hits!
Eddie: A Christmas album. And a Christmas Annual.
Paul: And a calendar.
Glam Chops, thankyou!
Eddie: Don't be glum, be glam.
