CasiokidsWhat's going on in Casiokids Land this week?

The single 'Dresinen' from our album Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammen came out on Monday (June 25th). It features a remix by our friend Annie Hart of Au Revoir Simone and a video made by Rumpus Animation. oh, and we play three concerts. First the XFM night at Camden Barfly on Wednesday June 27th, then Leefest Friday June 29th, and Winterwell festival on Saturday June 30th.

Your video for Dresinen is quite Moomins-ish. Did you get the Moomins in Norway and were you fans?

I grew up on Tove Janson's Moomin books and TV-series. Such a magical and inspiring world. My favorite character is Mörkö (The Groke).

You were one of the band's A-Ha chose to shower with support in 2010 - what's your favourite A-Ha song and why?

Manhattan Skyline. I love the melody, the production and the lyrics. Also, The cover version Kings of Convenience did made me appreciate the song even more. I like the very wild change in mood after 50 seconds.

A-Ha also did a James Bond tune as well. If Casiokids were to write a James Bond theme, what would it be like?

Now that is hard to describe in words.

Finally, you have one jukebox credit - what's it going to be?

The Todd Terry remix of 'Missing' by Everything But The Girl.
