GulpLindsey's Scottish and you're based in Cardiff - how did the two of you get to know each other?

Lindsey slowly meandered south from Aberdeen until reaching South Wales, where she studied art and made music. Cardiff's a small world where kindred spirits can easily come together. We bonded over Boards of Canada and Lee Hazlewood records.

The song sounds like a time travelling meeting of ancient mysticism and futuristic robo-vibes. If you had a TARDIS and could visit anywhere in the future or past, where would you go?

I'd have to choose the future to witness the cool developments in the human story like aliens, time-travel and jet-pack-shoes.

You're a keen vinyl collecter and known expert on Trojan Records. And if the Vinyl Justice cops arrived and nicked you for one indecent record but commended you for a highly classy one, which records would they choose?

Man, I'd be well and truly busted if they found my stash from the "Rubbish" night me and Bunf used to put on where we'd try and find beauty in crap records. This was usually only achieved by playing them through a chaos pad fx box and completely messing them up. Color Me Badd's I wanna Sex You Up sounds ace with a load of dubby delay on it but I don't think that will stand up in court. However, Lady by Dennis Wilson on 7" is quite a rare record and Top Trump in my universe.

Gulping is a common expression for people who've just spotted an awkward and perhaps daunting situation on the horizon. When was the last time you gulped?

When the Conservative party got back in. I'm still gulping.

Finally you have one jukebox credit - what's it gonna be?

'Baby', by Gal Costa & Caetano Veloso.
