JACQUES CARAMAC AND THE SWEET GENERATION
What does it take to be a New Blood?
No expert, but I’d say a desire to do whatever you please, regardless of what everyone else is doing is probably helpful…

How are you planning to conquer the world in 2013?
By not trying to…

Give us one other band on the line up across the week you'd like to tip?
Reptile Youth, for the name alone.

THE KILL VAN KULLS
What does it take to be a New Blood?
It takes time, hard work, love and money. Time, because you've got to write a tonne of future hits full of hooks that you and others will latch onto easily. Hard work, you've got to play these hits well live, so hours and hours of practice as well as drive down lonely motorways for what seems like forever at 3 o'clock in the morning. Love, you'll give up otherwise. Then money, as instruments, studios and rehearsal spaces don't grow on trees.

How are you planning to conquer the world in 2013?
Big songs and memorable performances. We'll be releasing some of our best music to date, as well as performing our best performances, generally making lots of noise. Ultimately music has to be accessible to many different people of varying backgrounds and musical tastes, if one person listen's and gets something out of a song they want to share it and sharing music amongst friends, loved ones and people with an appreciation for similar music has always been the key to world domination.

Give us one other band on the line up across the week you'd like to tip?
OK so three bands we would like to call out are:
Silverclub - who are great and we know from the local Manchester scene
Towns - they've got some Joy Division/My Bloody Valentine mash up going on, which is beautiful.
Whales in cubicles - are playing the same night as us and there sound should come across great live.
