Offset Interviews: Good Shoes
Artrocker.TV catches up with Good Shoes' Joel Cox backstage at Offset Festival...
So here we are at Offset, what's the plan for the evening?
I imagine I'll be checking out the Mystery Jets, then I'll have a little wander, go to the little marquees - then I'll get into that van there (points behind us) and go back to East London. Even though er... we're in East London already!
This is the last festival of 2010 where all these groups are going to be together - how would you say goodbye to 2010?
Well there's still three more months! But in terms of festivals it is the end. How do you say goodbye? It's going to be sad - 2010's been a kind year for Good Shoes, we've done great things, played great festivals... I actually think Offset is the perfect way to say goodbye. Like we said earlier, it's like a review of the last five years in London - all the friendly faces are here. It's a celebration!
We should all perhaps sit down and have a school photo taken together?
Yeah, or all sit down and hum with a few incense sticks!
