Photoblog: The Great Escape 2010: Levi’s Ones To Watch Stage

Artrocker likes to be beside the seaside: the crisp breeze ruffling our Shoreditch feathercut; the unnatural abundance of fish and chip shops; and, of course, the constant threat of being knocked on your arse by a seagull the size of a 747.

For all of these reasons and more, we jumped at the chance to cover Brighton’s premier new music festival, The Great Escape. This year, we were hungry for some new musical nourishment and, thanks to the fine people at Levi’s Ones To Watch, we certainly had our fill.

Over the course of three days we were treated to standout sets from new talent like Fenech Soler, Japandroids, The Good Natured, Kid Bombardos and Summer Camp – along with a surprise set from our current cover stars, The Futureheads. All in all, more fun than you can shake a stick of Brighton Rock at!
