Shock of the New: BernholzYOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF:
Bernholz, from Brighton.

IN A NUTSHELL, HE'S A BIT LIKE:
'80s chart pop performed by a haunted radiator.

FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL:
Bernholz is part of the label/collective that put out Gazelle Twin. His debut single 'Austerity Boy' is an "avant-garde cover of Madonna's 'Material Girl'" - though you might have to squint to see it!

IT'S ONLY A FIRST DATE, BUT WE'RE THINKING:
Deceptively weird at first, the debut single builds into a groovesome dance pattern reminiscent of Factory Floor. Mr Holz also gets top marks for cultural relevancy!
