Shock of the New: JoyLandYOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF:
The stylistically aphotic London-based Northern Irish trio, JoyLand.

IN A NUTSHELL THEY’RE A BIT LIKE:
Deerhunter, but more rounded and ‘poppy’.

FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL:
Single by single, they’re maturing and exploring – the more progressive they go, the better: people have adored them thus far.

IT’S ONLY THE FIRST DATE, BUT WE’RE THINKING:
Their first single ‘Whitebate’ was heavily blogged (loved by John Kennedy), and their live shows are climbing rungs rapidly – it only looks a matter of time before they land some really terrific coverage.

INTRIGUED?
