Shock of the New: Left Of ManilaYOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF:
Left Of Manila from Oxford.

IN A NUTSHELL, THEY'RE A BIT LIKE:
Brian Eno set loose on an obscure German krautock record from the late '70s, with a pipette's worth of Animal Collective dropped into his eyeballs.

FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL:
The duo consist of Ed Bentley, Mish Pharaon, who list "Transportation, trains and exploration" as among their interests on Facebook. They play Proud Galleries in Camden on 5 June.

IT'S ONLY A FIRST DATE, BUT WE'RE THINKING:
More mushroom washover than acid spike, this is trip music with heart.
