Shock of the New: Lois and the Love

Shock of the New checks in with the spiky, eccentric guitar pop of London's Lois and the Love

Shock of the New: Lois and the LoveYOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF:
Lois & The Love, from London.

IN A NUTSHELL, THEY'RE A BIT LIKE:
The brittle riffage of Elastica dipped head-first into a tank of insane piranha fish.

FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL:
Singer Lois walked the Earth until she found the appropriate band to play her spiky, perky songs. She met The Love - and the rest is history. Now they go on to play two London dates, at McQueens (15 Feb) and the Queen of Hoxton (25th).

IT'S ONLY A FIRST DATE, BUT WE'RE THINKING:
With addictively crunchy guitars and an singer who could wear a 'HAZARDOUS AREA' sign around her neck, these folks will be worth catching live.
