Shock of the New lights a dark purple incense stick and gets down to the shamanic post-punk of Partly Faithful

Shock of the New: Partly FaithfulYOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF:
Partly Faithful, from London.

IN A NUTSHELL, THEY'RE A BIT LIKE:
Post-punk demon worshippers having a particularly nightmarish comedown.

FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL:
The band take influence from Pornography era Cure via Echo & The Bunnymen and Bauhaus to create spidery and hypnotic meditations. They've already been asked by The Horrors to play their official aftershow party at The Brixton Jamm on 25 May, and launch their own self-titled EP with a gig at the Hoxton Underbelly on 22 April.

IT'S ONLY A FIRST DATE, BUT WE'RE THINKING:
Compellingly sinister and challenging stuff.
