The Canadian Connection #6Beliefs are making waves in Toronto right now. Across Canada, even. Right when you never expected to see a good music video on TV ever again, out came their video for 'Catch My Breath'. Shoegazey goodness at its finest. No one else is making sounds quite like this.

2013 is bright for Jessica Upton Crowe and Josh Korody, the masterminds and musical soul mates behind Beliefs. They are releasing their debut record on March 5 and heading to SXSW this year. Basically every band's dream.

Aside from Beliefs, Crowe and Korody seemingly run around Toronto doing it all. They DJ together, Korody is in another band called Breeze, has a studio called Candle Recordings where he records bands like Moon King and Crowe has her own hair salon in the coolest part of town. Truly inspiring.

They are also signed to No Pain in Pop. Tom King has been an avid promoter of Beliefs and Crowe says, "we are very excited to be a part of a roster that's put out records from bands as close to home as Doldrums and far away as Echo Lake."

And the No Pain in Pop connection could bring them to Europe and the UK as early as this summer! And man, you guys will dig them and never want them to leave.
