Unwrapped: Pull In Emergency/ 15 Years

'15 years' was written by an angry 14 year old me, about a 15 year old boy I liked. We were very good friends but then everything got messed up. At the time I thought it was the end of the world. Looking back on it, I took things incredibly seriously for someone so young.

The song is about the boy thinking that he was fearless and grown up at 15, but then acting just like a child. It's also about how delicate friendships are that something fairly unimportant can end a good relationship so easily.

To be honest, the danger of starting to write songs so young is that four years later what you've written can be quite embarassing to you. Most people want to forget what they were like at the tricky age of 14, but for me I am reminded every time I hear our single.
