Starting off the night was the fantastic George Ezra, from Bristol UK, who really reminded me of all the best bits of William Elliott Whitmore crossed with Bon Iver. George’s haunting voice and scarce use of the guitar meant for an excellent set - really enjoyable stuff.

Headlining the night was the wonderful Rae Morris, a 19 year old from Blackpool who had one of the loveliest voices I’ve heard for a long time. You know when you don't really want to try and say something about a singer for fear of "not doing them justice" - well this is case of that.

Finally, DJ Jake spun tunes till the early hours and people danced and got silly. Exactly what you want from a night out...
