WolfmotherSo just when you think you can’t possibly top the last show you saw at Brixton Academy, Aussie rockers Wolfmother go one step further and absolutely shatter the stage! Anticipation built as support The Black Angels left the stage, then the lights dimmed and carnage ensued.

All the old favourites were there – ‘Woman’, ‘Dimension’, ‘Apple Tree’, ‘Joker & the Thief’ - and this Artrocker had such a hard time containing her excitement, she almost had to leave the premises for fear of being branded insane.

Luckily, whatever they put in the air filtered through the crowd like vodka through a mixer, and the sold out mass became one.

‘New Moon Rising’ and ‘White Feather’ only confirmed that Wolfmother are back and better than ever: so much so, that while band folk were strutting around on the stage like the rock stars they are, it was clear they would have had the same kick-ass time off the stage, down in front with the multitudes who screamed every word.

No wonder the Cosmic Egg tour is almost a sell out! These days, Wolfmother are showing just the way things are done.
