Akala added to Underage line-up

Award winning British Hip-Hop artist Akala has been added to the Underage Festival line-up. The rapper who is known for his conscious and thought provoking lyrics, joins previously confirmed acts such as MIA, Chapel Club, Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder and more...

Akala's performance is in support of CM, a youth and community music organization based in Tower Hamlets, which will be hosting its own 'Music Space' stage. Throughout the day, CM will be showcasing local acts supported and taught through its community music projects.

The Music Space stage at The Underage Festival provides invaluable experience for young artists who have taken courses such as the Music Space programme; a year-long course offering young bands free rehearsal space, and expert tuition from industry professionals in all areas of the songwriting, rehearsing, performing and recording.
