Alec Empire condemns global governments
In this moth's issue of Artrocker, Atari Teenage Riot's Alec Empire speaks out against government power - and says that Obama hasn't changed anything
Atari Teenage Riot frontman Alec Empire has spoken out against global governments in an exclusive new interview with Artrocker Magazine.
"I am anti -government. The government is the problem," he says in the issue. "It became obvious with Obama. Even though he made a good statement after Bush he hasn't changed enough to convince people that he is on their side; which he doesn't seem to be.
"I am an anarchist libertarian. Guess what I’m thinking about Cameron and Merkel... The more powerful governments get the more dangerous they become."
Atari Teenage Riot play an exclusive and rare intimate show at The Garage, London on 29 February. The show is part of the Energy Sessions sponsored by Relentless Energy and hosted by Artrocker.
