Artrocker launches onto Apple Newsstand for the iPadAs of today, Artrocker is now available for the iPad via Apple's Newsstand app.

UK users can get it by visiting iTunes HERE while US users should visit iTunes by clicking HERE.

However, this is not simply the Artrocker Magazine you know and love reproduced onscreen; you know us better than that. This Artrocker has been designed and built from the ground up specially for use on the iPad.

Our New Blood section, for instance, brings you a monthly round-up of the hottest new bands around just as we do in print but, turn the iPad on its side, choose a play button and listen to the band!

We have the legendary Artrocker Reviews section and all your regular columns from Tim Burgess, Radio 1’s Jen Long, Anthony M Hall et al, and of course we still have all the full features and interviews you’ve come to expect BUT look out for the ‘Tap Targets’ or the signal ‘Rotate To View’ dotted throughout each issue to launch extra content, video clips or music.

Yep, this really is a whole new kind of Artrocker Magazine.

Every month, you can turn to the Artrocker Radio section where Paul brings you all the latest news and live sessions from the Artrocker Radio Show on Resonance FM.

On the iPad, however, once you’ve read the feature, and checked out the scrolling playlist for the show, just tap the play button. What you get is a full hour and half Artrocker Radio show right there on your iPad. Its not streamed, so no need for a constant internet connection. This show is yours to listen to whenever you like.

To introduce Artrocker for iPad to the world, we’re publishing three months worth all at once going back to our March 2012 issue featuring The Black Keys - showcasing far more of Gavin Watson’s photography from his day with the band as well as the re-issue of our interview from the first time we featured Black Keys on our cover - early in 2005. Yeah, come on, keep up!

The Artrocker App is available to download from Newsstand for FREE. Once you’ve got the app, each issue is available individually for just £2.49.

A year’s subscription to Artrocker for iPad is just £19.99 and with three issues already published, there’s plenty to get your teeth into right from day one. Enjoy!
