Atari Teenage Riot urge Offset Festival to assault Tony Blair
Alec Empire wants to throw molotov cocktails at the former Prime Minister...
Techno anarchists Atari Teenage Riot brought Offset festival to a close last night with a heady set of distorted synths, old school jungle beats and revolutionary sloganeering.
Despite some members of the audience fleeing for the last tube home, Alec Empire kung fu kicked his way through a set which included classics 'Activate' and 'Destroy 2000 years Of Culture'.
"Thank you to all these people who believed the riot was more important than the last train home!", Empire told the crowd.
Later, while introducing 'No Success', the frontman encouraged Offset to hunt down and attack Tony Blair.
"I heard that people were throwing eggs at Tony Blair recently", said Empire. "If you ask me, you should be throwing molotov cocktails at him!".
