BBC Introducing line up announced for Reading & Leeds

August bank holiday weekender adds upcoming acts to bill

Reading & LeedsCelebrating its fifth year at Reading & Leeds Festival, Festival Republic have today confirmed the line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage which will give fans the chance to see the very best new talent from across the UK.

The stage which ties in with the BBC's new music initiative has showcased bands such as Two Door Cinema Club and Pulled Apart By Horses in the past.

The bands that play are chosen through a combination of the BBC’s countrywide Introducing shows, Leeds promoters Futuresound, festival promoters Festival Republic and Martin House’s Centre Stage competition.

These new acts join The Cure, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Maccabees and At The Drive-In, along with many more.

The Reading & Leeds Festival is held on August 24 through to the 26.

The line up for the Introducing stage includes: Black Moth, Cut Ribbons, Deaf Club, Seasfire and Wet Nuns.
