Cruise gets M83 as soundtrack
M83 to write tunes for sci-fi feature starring Tom Cruise
M83's Antony Gonzalez has been called in to soundtrack a Hollywood movie. The French dream-pop soundsmith has been asked to compose original music for director Joseph Kosinski's new sci fi feature, 'Oblivion', which will star Tom Cruise.
Accoridng to IMDB the film's story line is "A court martial sends a veteran soldier to a distant planet, where he is to destroy the remains of an alien race. The arrival of an unexpected traveller causes him to question what he knows about the planet, his mission, and himself".
Kosinski brought in Daft Punk to soundtrack his last feature length, Trong: Legacy.
