Even more names added to Africa Express

Damon Albarn's world music project Africa Express has got a few more people in for the party. Tony Allen, Carl Barât, Toumani Diabate, Nicolas Jaar, Spoek Mathambo, The Very Best (Soundsystem) and Rizzle Kicks [errr] will be joining the September celebrations.

A collective of African and Western musicians, The Africa Express will travel through England, Scotland and Wales for a unique musical journey featuring gigs in Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol and London as well as 'pop-up' performances at railway stations, schools, factories, offices, shopping centres and homes.

Those September tour dates are:

4 - The Arches - Glasgow
5 - The Ritz - Manchester
6 - Solus (Cardiff University) - Cardiff
7 - The Big Top @ Creative Common - Bristol
8 - Granary Square at King's Cross - London
