First Days of Freedom Festival cancelled

A lack of funding means the Mystery Jets headlined festie for college leavers has been cancelled

The First Days Of Freedom Festival will be refunding tickets, after a lack of budget has seen the festival shut down for this year.

The Kent event was due to see performances from Mystery Jets, Los Campesinos!, The King Blues, Tinchy Stryder, Professor Green and Ed Sheeran.

In a statement, the organisers said: "Due to a gap in funding sadly the eagle will not flap its wings and take to the skies. All tickets will be refunded from place of purchase, so don't worry."
