Fleet Foxes’ drummer goes bye-bye

Fleet Foxes' drummer Joshua Tillman has left the band, after announcing on his blog:

"Farewell Fleet fans and friends. Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes. Sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun."

Tillman will now continue to focus on his solo project Father John Misty, which will release its eighth album in 2012 via Sub Pop.
