Gorkys co-founder Richard James to release new LP in April
'Pictures in the Morning' will be the Welsh songwriter's third solo outing

Richard James is set to release his third solo album Pictures in the Morning on 23 April.
The co-founder of Gorkys Zygotic Mynci is promising a more stripped back follow-up to his "poptastic" 2010 album We Went Riding.
Pictures in the Morning is, according to James, more of "a sad, reflective album mainly on loss and the melancholia of making and repeating mistakes in life". The record features Euros Childs singing backing harmonies on three tracks.
Meanwhile, James is also planning a 45-track long mega album with a new band called Pen Pastwn, which also features Laura J Martin and Gareth Bonello. You can already download an EP from the group at:
