HMV man steps down
Is this the first step to the actual end?
Simon Fox, the boss of music, games and technology retailer HMV, has announced he will be stepping down from his role.
His plans to expand the HMV brand into other areas of music and entertainment were abandoned due to cash issues and money-lender pressure.
He insists that after some streamlining the company could be back in profit by next year. Former Jessops boss Trevor Moore, who will take over as CEO next month.
