Jack White and Jay-Z record “unbelievable-sounding” collaboration?

Jay-ZJack White has revealed to GQ Magazine that he's been in the studio with Jay-Z.

The White Stripes singer didn't reveal any details but that the record was “unbelievable-sounding”.

"We did a song together a few weeks ago,” he told GQ. “It was incredible.

“I played him something that I've been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it.”

Jay-Z has hinted at a new album for several months, claiming to have "a few ideas" for a more international sound. When asked about a potential collaboration with White, Jay revealed himself as a fan, describing him as a “renaissance man”.

The White Stripes' 'Under Great White Northern Lights' live album and documentary was released on Monday.
