Jay-Z has open air show at The Ed Sullivan Theatre cancelled
Jay-Z should really take control of his city. Who is this Michael Bloomberg? Some kind of politician?
Jay-Z was planning a secret open air concert on top of The Ed Sullivan Theatre next Monday after his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The rapper who has taken on the nickname 'Mayor of New York' since his number 1 smash 'Empire State Of Mind' was adopted as the new New York anthem has had his open air concert cancelled by the real New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. BEEF! Surely? No?
Jay-Z's concert was set to go ahead before Drake caused a mini riot earlier in the week with his own open air show to celebrate the release of his debut album 'Thank Me Later'. Roughly 25,000 people turned up to the Canadian rappers shindig before Police decided it would be too dangerous to perform.
