John Foxx & The Maths collaborate with The Soft Moon
The two acts have teamed up for a one off single
John Foxx & The Maths have recorded a new single with The Soft Moon titled 'Evidence'.
The one off song is available now as a free download from Soundcloud (LINK) and will also be released as a 7inch single on Captured Tracks on 26 June.
The two were introduced to one another's work via Artrocker. During last year's John Foxx Week on this website (LINK) The Soft Moon were asked to comment on Foxx's influence. They said:
'Foxx's Metamatic album is what led me to discover the ARP Odyssey, the most crucial instrument in my collection, and the key synthesizer used in creating my unique sound. So that album is very important to me and what I do.'
Speaking of the collaboration, John Foxx said: 'The Soft Moon are where minimalism maximises into a new universe of possibilities. It's an absolute joy for us to work with them.'
