Killing For Company to make first live appearance since Stuart Cable’s death
Killing For Company to return to performing at Swansea festival...
It has been announced that the late Stuart Cable’s band Killing For Company have chosen this month’s Pontardawe Festival to make their first appearance since his tragic death in June this year.
Rachel Jones, Stuart’s partner and the band’s agent, is a regular visitor to the annual music Festival in the Swansea Valley. In recent years, Stuart would also be seen around the site, enjoying a moment or two away from the media spotlight.
Festival Chairman Paul Fjaelberg said “Stuart was a renowned champion of young musicians, and in honour of this we have booked Moongazer and Ragged School, two rising stars of the Welsh music scene, to precede Killing For Company’s appearance.
In addition, we will be making a collection in support of Stuart’s favourite charities, Teenage Cancer Trust and Tŷ Hafan.”
Gates open 7pm, for 8pm start. Tickets will be available shortly, priced at £10. More information is available from the Gŵyl Pontardawe Festival website www.pontardawefestival.com
