Emmy The Great, who we promise not to refer to as "great" in a ho-ho-see-what-we-did-there kind of way, is shortly to return with her second album Virtues, on 13 June.

Produced by These New Puritans' studio guru Gareth Jones, the album apparently began as a series of stories Emmy embarked on after her engagement to an atheist, "but took on a very different shape when he left her for the church."
