Maccabees, Lana Del Rey to play MTV show at London’s Koko

MTV has announced two live shows in January to help promote new artists tipped for greatness in 2012, and also featuring a couple of more established acts with new albums recommended by the music channel.
On 24 January, The Maccabees will headline the Koko in Camden, playing new tracks from their forthcoming album Given To The Wild, to be released on 9 January.
Support will come from the seemingly ubiquitous Lana Del Rey and someone calling themselves Charli XCX.
On 25 January, also at Koko, Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé will be headlining, with support from Delilah.
