Metallica launch own music festival
Orion Music and More festival will play host the the Arctic Monkeys in Atlantic City this summer
Metallica have launched their own festival in the States, and booked themselves, Arctic Monkeys, Fucked Up, Modest Mouse and A Place To Bury Strangers to perform.
Orion Music and More will take place in Atlantic City from 23-24 June, with the metallers headlining both dates, naturally.
They will perform The Black Album on night one, followed by Ride The Lightning on night two.
Said Mr Lars Ulrich: "We've had the idea of doing our own lifestyle festival with lots of diverse music and fun and games for years. Finally this year all the practical ducks lined up in a row, and we are beyond psyched to bring Orion to our fans, friends and the curious."
