UPDATED! Muse to premiere official Olympics anthem ‘Unsustainable’
The westcountry trio will premiere the track on Zane Lowe's show tonight
Muse are set to premiere the debut single from their upcoming album The 2nd Law tonight (27 June) on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, UK time 7.30pm.
The single, titled 'Unsustainable' will be the first glimpse into the band's "radically different" new album. It has also been chosen as the official single of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Matt Bellamy said today: “It’s a huge honour to have the track chosen as such a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games. I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win”.
Muse have already released a trailer for The 2nd Law (scroll down to watch it) which is released on 17 September.
